1. Our Privacy Mission

Mint Money Tracker is built on a "Privacy by Design" model. We believe your financial data is your property. Our business model is based on subscriptions, not data monetization.

2. FinanceKit & Bank Data

If you choose to use the automated bank syncing features via Apple FinanceKit:

• On-Device Processing: All transaction data fetched via FinanceKit is processed locally on your iPhone.
• No Third-Party Access: We do not share FinanceKit data with third-party analytics, advertisers, or credit bureaus.
• Zero-Knowledge Storage: Your financial history is stored in your private, encrypted iCloud container. Mint does not have access to your bank balances or transaction history.

3. Marketing & Personalization

• No Marketing: We strictly prohibit the use of financial data for marketing or advertising purposes.
• Functional Personalization: Data is used exclusively to provide in-app services, specifically updating your Pulse Rings and calculating your Debt Horizon.

4. Data Retention

You have full control. Deleting the app or your account will remove all locally stored data. Since we do not store your data on our servers, we cannot "recover" it if lost—this is a feature of our commitment to your security.
